About Dr. Chantelle Roberts, ND
My inspiration to pursue Naturopathic Medicine began with an innocent conversation with a family member when I was 16 years old about their experience seeing a Naturopathic Doctor. They spoke about a knowledgeable practitioner who spent an extended amount of time talking about their health concerns and recommending botanical therapies as a treatment. I was struggling with my own health concerns at the time and felt so hopeless. Hearing their story sparked a curiosity in me. So, I booked an appointment with a Naturopathic Doctor for myself.
I was inspired by the holistic approach to care and the time my Naturopath spent discussing and researching my health concerns; I finally felt heard and understood. I was hooked. I knew that Naturopathic Medicine was the career path I was meant to pursue. Since then, it has become my passion and goal to help my patients feel heard and understood as well, and to empower them to become an advocate for their health and well-being.
Philosophy:
I approach health from a holistic framework. I strongly believe that to achieve optimal health, we need to take into consideration our body, mind, soul, and all other factors that may impact our health, such as nutrition, stress, sleep, environment and social connectedness. I work in collaboration with my patients to help them develop a deeper understanding of their current state of health. My goal is to empower my patients to make informed decisions to help them achieve their optimal state of health and well-being. My treatment process incorporates evidence-based medicine, natural therapies and traditional healing practices.
Treatment process:
My treatment process begins with a comprehensive intake, which incorporates a detailed exploration of your health, physical examinations, blood work/ functional laboratory testing and establishing your health goals. You will feel heard. I will then take this information and create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals, which we will discuss in detail at your second appointment. Depending on your health goals, your treatment plan may include a variety of modalities, such as nutrition and lifestyle counselling, nutraceuticals, botanicals, acupuncture and more! We will then establish a plan to monitor your progress through subsequent follow-up appointments.
Education & Experience:
I am fully licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Practitioners. I completed a 4-year Doctor of Naturopathy Degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to this I completed a 4-year Bachelor of Health Studies Degree at the University of Regina, which had an emphasis on the social determinants of health, health research, and contemporary and indigenous health concerns. In addition, I was previously a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am passionate about continuous education and am always striving to expand my knowledge and skillset!

Health, wellness and fitness have always been my passion! I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, running, biking or simply taking a stroll in nature. When I’m not in clinic or working on my fitness, you ‘ll likely find me experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen, pursuing a creative venture of some sort, spending time with family and friends, or teaching my dog a new trick!
My husband and I recently welcomed our first child into our lives, a baby boy, Axel. It has been such a joy transitioning into parenthood and this new phase of our family life!

“I believe that each individual is capable of living a healthy and fulfilling life. I am dedicated to supporting my patients as they navigate their health journeys, and honour that this may not look the same for everyone. My approach to care is not a 'one-size-fits-all' approach, but instead draws upon evidence-based medicine, naturopathic principles of care, traditional healing paradigms and the healing power of nature. My goal is to work in collaboration with my patients and empower them to become advocates for their health and wellbeing.”
